TriCities Hospital Float Pool Nurse

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Float Pool RN Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team at TriCities Hospital. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will provide exceptional patient care while floating throughout the facility to all nursing units within your scope of practice.
Responsibilities:
- Clinical management of patients with assurance of satisfaction for customers (patients, visitors, physicians, and other staff members)
- Participation in Quality Management activities to promote cost-effective unit operations
- Documentation of nursing care in Meditech
- Orienting new personnel and identifying developmental needs of the unit and nursing department
Requirements:
- Holds a current license from the Virginia Board of Nursing or a multi-state compact license with eligibility to practice in Virginia
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing, Bachelor's Degree preferred
- At least two years of previous nursing experience in an acute care facility required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support obtained within 60 days of employment start date
- Basic Cardiac Life Support obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention obtained within six months of employment start date
- PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support obtained within six months of employment start date

Salary:
$95,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience
