About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer to join our Data Platform team at Apple. As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our data platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and deploy scalable and highly available data platforms
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts to improve efficiency and reduce downtime
  • Work closely with engineering teams to ensure seamless integration with other services
  • Contribute to the development of best practices and standards for data platform engineering
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in a Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure-focused role
  • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and data platforms
  • Experience with Linux operating systems and scripting languages
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with security-related infrastructure and certificate management
  • Proficiency with open-source data analytics technologies and large-scale environments
  • Hands-on experience with configuration management and software delivery platforms
