Job Title: Computed Tomography Technologist

SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital is seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic medical imaging by CT Scan examinations under the direction of the Radiologist, Director, Supervisors, and Lead Special Procedure Technologist.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform computed tomography examinations and produce quality images in a consistent manner.
  • Document venipuncture site/contrast in RIS per established departmental guidelines.
  • Observe and establish departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program safety, environmental and infection control standards.
  • Use Hospital/Radiology system according to established policy and provide training and direction to staff as necessary.
  • Follow hospital and radiology policies, handle bio-hazardous waste appropriately, and maintain a safe, clean, comfortable and therapeutic environment for patients/families/employees.
Requirements:
  • Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA)
  • ARRT-R Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • ARRT-CT Computed Tomography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
