Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Medical Imaging Specialist to join our team as a Traveling Medical Imaging Specialist. As a Traveling Medical Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining medical imaging equipment, preparing patients for exams, and producing high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain medical imaging equipment, including CT scanners, MRI machines, and X-ray machines.
  • Prepare patients for exams, including explaining procedures, positioning patients, and ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • Produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes, including adjusting equipment settings and using image processing software.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient exams, including images, reports, and patient information.
Requirements:
  • Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiography or a related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Imaging Specialist in a hospital or healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment, as well as stand for long periods of time.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
