Job Overview

Child & Family Resources is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing accessible programming that helps parents be the best they can be and allows children to thrive. We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Family Support Specialist to join our team in Cochise County.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct home visits virtually or in person to assess family needs and provide case management services while promoting self-sufficiency.
  • Utilize child development curriculum with each family and promote positive parent-child relationships through play-based activities.
  • Maintain necessary assessments and documentation in accordance with agency and funding source requirements.
  • Participate in weekly supervision with the Program Supervisor and coordinate with other community services.
Requirements
  • A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent, with a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or a related behavioral health field preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with families from diverse backgrounds.
  • Knowledge of family life skills, child development, and at-risk populations.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team, with flexibility in scheduling (including limited nights and weekends).
