Job Summary

The Restaurant Operations Manager performs and directs overall restaurant management for RL Jordan, ensuring that food safety, product preparation, and cleanliness standards are maintained. This role directs staff to ensure that all local and national health and food safety codes are maintained and company safety and security policies are followed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops and implements effective restaurant operations strategies to drive sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Recruits, trains, and develops high-performing staff to meet business objectives.
  • Ensures compliance with food safety and health regulations, maintaining a clean and safe environment for customers and staff.
  • Manages inventory and controls costs, analyzing business records to identify areas for improvement.
  • Supports local and national marketing initiatives, identifying opportunities to promote sales and increase brand awareness.
  • Plans and executes special events and promotions to drive sales and customer engagement.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives and improve overall restaurant performance.

Requirements:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred.

Experience & Skills: A minimum of two (2) years in a restaurant environment, experience in supervising and training staff. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Physical Demands: Must be able to work any area of the restaurant when needed and to operate a computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. Position requires bending, standing, and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
