Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Neurosurgeon to join our team at Norman Regional Health System. As a key member of our medical staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the development of our neurosurgery department.

Responsibilities
  • Assess, evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with neurological disorders and injuries.
  • Develop and maintain positive professional relationships with physicians, peers, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Evaluate patient information, obtain pertinent data, and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Administer diagnosis, educate patients and families, and order further testing and treatment as necessary.
  • Manage medication usage and provide continuity of care during acute and chronic phases of illness.
  • Document patient encounters, medical history, and treatment plans in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to achieve strategic goals and improve patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Allopathic (MD) or Osteopathic (DO) Physician degree.
  • Board certification or board eligibility in Neurosurgery.
  • Oklahoma Medical License and DEA/OBNDD certification.
  • Other required licenses and certifications pertinent to the specialty.
