Job Summary
The Registered Nurse II will be responsible for delivering safe and effective patient care, utilizing the principles and practices of the nursing process. This role requires a strong commitment to providing individualized, goal-directed care to patients and families at the competent level.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in accordance with established standards and protocols.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluate patient responses to interventions.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
- A minimum of an Associate's Degree in Nursing.
- Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification for most nursing areas within the hospital.
Working Conditions
This role requires:
- Ability to stand for long periods.
- Capacity to work rotating shifts and overtime as required.
- Willingness to work in a latex-safe environment.
Compensation
