Position Overview:
The Springfield Utility Board is seeking a qualified candidate for the role of Electrical Engineering Associate / Engineer - 3.

Division:
Electric Service Center

Reporting Structure:
Reports to the Electric Engineering Manager

Work Schedule:
Exempt / Non-Union / Full Time / 40 hours per week / Monday - Friday / 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Compensation Range:
Electrical Engineer 1:
$8, $9,743.08/month (Initial salary at $8,274.94/month)

Electrical Engineer 2:
$9, $11,646.28/month (Initial salary at $9,956.28/month)

Electrical Engineer 3:
$11, $13,383.08/month (Initial salary at $11,000/month)

Position Classification:
Placement as an Electrical Engineer 1, 2, or 3 will depend on the applicant's knowledge, skills, abilities, and required licenses as specified in the Minimum Qualifications.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Recent graduates are welcome and will receive on-the-job training.
- Engineering experience in a utility or related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is preferred.
- Familiarity with PLS-CADD is preferred.

Education and Certifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a comparable engineering degree from an ABET accredited program.

Licensing:
Driving is a crucial function of this role. A valid Oregon Class C Driver's License is required (must be obtained within the first six months). An Oregon Professional Engineer license is required for all levels of Electrical Engineer positions. An Electrical Engineering Associate 2 must possess an Oregon Engineer-in-Training license.
