Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Gardening Specialist to join our team at Ladgov Corporation.

Job Title: Gardening Specialist

Job Location: Central Alabama veterans' healthcare system (CAVHCS), Montgomery and Tuskegee, AL.

Job Type: Full-time

Work Schedule: 5 days a week for 8 hours each day for a total of 40 hours per week

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Utilize blowers to maintain cleanliness of parking lots, sidewalks, and entrances.
  • Dispose of trash from outdoor trash cans.
  • Assist with weed eating as needed.
  • Install pine straw and/or mulch and prepare flower beds.
  • Pick up leaves from all exterior surfaces.
  • Cut grass using push lawn mowers.
  • Trim hedges and shrubbery.
  • Plant flowers as needed.
  • Operate hand and power tools common to the trade.

Requirements:

  • Must have at least 3 years of documented experience in gardening.
  • Ability to work in noisy environments.
