Job Description

Soliant is seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a contract position at a school near Belfast, ME. This role involves working with students to assess and treat speech, language, and communication disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans to address students' unique needs.
  • Provide therapy sessions tailored to each student's requirements, promoting effective communication and language skills.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to student support.
  • Document progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid state SLP license in Maine.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
  • Experience in a school setting is preferred, but not required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.
