Job Description:

Clinic Nurses play a vital role in the direct and indirect care of patients at Sarah Bush Lincoln. Their responsibilities include clinical measurements, data collection, and documenting patient records.

Additional duties include administering medication, assisting with exams and procedures, and maintaining a clean environment. Key responsibilities include:

  • Accepting reassignment at the direction of management
  • Administering medication as directed by providers
  • Assisting with patient exams and treatments
  • Cleaning and stocking exam rooms and work spaces
  • Collecting patient data and documenting responses to screening questions
  • Following Universal Precautions at all times
  • Performing laboratory duties, including phlebotomy and routine testing
  • Relaying information between providers and clients

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A High School diploma or equivalent
  • BLS or CPR certification within 90 days of hire
  • Active CMA or LPN licensure
  • LPN license from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation
Estimated Salary:

$45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
