**About the Role**

As a Sr. Software Engineer at U.S. Bank, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, operating, and maintaining best-in-class software experiences. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the bank's technology transformation.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Design, develop, test, operate, and maintain software products
  • Take full-stack ownership by consistently writing production-ready and testable code
  • Create optimal designs adhering to architectural best practices, considering scalability, reliability, and performance of systems/contexts affected

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Five to six years of relevant experience

**Preferred Skills/Experience:**

  • Hands-on experience with HOGAN CAMS, Mainframe Cobol, JCL, IMS DB2, MQ, and VSAM development
  • Strong skills in Endevor, FileManager, EZTRIEVE, and TSO Development
  • Excellent debugging skills
  • Good understanding of third-party dependency management and transitive dependency issues
  • Strong knowledge of IMS database
  • Understanding of the software development life cycle
  • Experience with implementation and release management activities
  • Good understanding of unit/system and functional testing methodologies
  • Experience working in large transaction-based systems
  • Experience writing technical designs
  • Experience documenting technical functions

**Salary Range:** $119,765.00 - $140,900.00 - $154,990.00
