We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Auditor to join our team at Maher Duessel. As a Staff Auditor, you will play a key role in providing high-quality audit services to our government and non-profit clients.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct audits of government and non-profit entities, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Develop and implement audit plans, identifying areas of risk and opportunity for improvement.
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing clear and concise audit findings and recommendations.
- Work collaboratively with the audit team to ensure timely completion of engagements.
- Stay up-to-date with current developments in government and non-profit accounting, ensuring the highest level of technical expertise.
- Minimum of 1 year of accounting experience, preferably in government or non-profit auditing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with clients and colleagues at all levels.
