Job Summary

As a Lead MRI Technologist at DMC Harper University/Hutzel Women's Hospital, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our MRI department. Under general supervision, you will function as a lead or resource person for personnel involved in MRI procedures, performing duties as required and coordinating the flow of work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and delegate tasks to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality patient care.
  • Monitor and resolve routine and complex problems, ensuring the department operates in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Recommends personnel actions, including performance appraisals, hiring decisions, and progressive disciplines.
  • Assist with monitoring performance improvement plans and scheduling of MRI technologists.
  • Ensure compliance with laws, government regulations, JC requirements, and DMC policies.
Requirements
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT).
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support - Healthcare Provider (BLS) training required.
  • Two or more years of progressively more responsible MRI Technologist work experience.
