- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to create a compassionate healing environment and foster professional growth and satisfaction.
- Coordinate and provide care through the therapeutic use of self, nursing process, and the environment and technology.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in the field.
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing.
- 6 months of nursing experience in medical acute care.
- RN Registered Nursing license in California.
- NIHSS National Institute of Health Stroke Scale certification.
- Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) certification within 2 years of hire.
- Annual stroke care education as determined by department or Stroke Program.
This is a 12-hour hourly position with a work shift that contains the word 'exempt' on it.
