HR Coordinator Job Description

We're seeking a highly skilled and organized HR Coordinator to join our team at nVent. As a key member of our Human Resources department, you will play a vital role in supporting various HR functions and initiatives across our Texas and U.S. sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service to employees, responding to inquiries and concerns in a timely and effective manner.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of employee engagement initiatives and recognition programs to foster a positive work environment.
  • Support the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting background checks.
  • Coordinate new hire onboarding activities, including preparing offer letters, organizing orientation sessions, and ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Promote a strong organizational culture through employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and other activities.
  • Prepare routine and ad-hoc HR reports and metrics to support decision-making.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience of four years.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
