ROLE SUMMARY

The incumbent will be accountable for ensuring adherence to regulatory frameworks and serving as the main point of contact with regulatory bodies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Overseeing compliance with licensing mandates and executing applicable regulations.
  • Managing routine communications with regulatory authorities and facilitating inspections.
  • Collaborating with industry stakeholders on regulatory matters.
  • Supervising safety committee functions and maintaining essential safety records.
  • Coordinating with regulatory inspectors and fulfilling compliance obligations.
  • Formulating and revising procedures to align with regulatory standards.

Additional responsibilities may include participation in shared resource initiatives, emergency preparedness, and cybersecurity evaluations.

Essential Skills:

Ability to convey technical information effectively, both orally and in written form.

Proficiency in standard office software applications.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related scientific discipline.

Experience: 0 to 6 years of pertinent experience in the nuclear sector or a comparable field.

Skills: Familiarity with nuclear generation principles and operational protocols.
