Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and secure transportation construction projects from a diverse client base.
  • Serve as the resident engineer for various construction initiatives.
  • Oversee project timelines, budgets, and ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Foster strong relationships within the organization and the broader industry.
  • Engage in staff development and mentorship activities.
  • Perform construction engineering tasks including field layout, quantity verification, and materials testing.
  • Assist in the design and planning phases of transportation projects.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with a specialization in transportation or construction.
  • 4 to 10 years of relevant construction experience.
  • Valid driver's license and the capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Desired Skills:
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or the ability to obtain one within 6 months.
  • Familiarity with WisDOT projects and proficiency in relevant software.
