Job Summary

We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at the Montgomery County Recovery Center, a licensed medication-assisted treatment program. The successful candidate will work part-time, approximately 5-10 hours per week, with a flexible schedule that includes every other Saturday and on-call weekdays between 6:00 am and 10:30 am.

Program Overview

The Montgomery County Recovery Center provides medication treatment in conjunction with counseling and supportive services to support individuals struggling with addiction to recover. Our program is designed to provide a safe and supportive environment for individuals to overcome their addiction and achieve long-term recovery.

Job Responsibilities
  • Dispense methadone and buprenorphine to clients, observing their physical condition and psychological effects.
  • Ensure clients have consumed medication before leaving the dispensing area.
  • Monitor clients' physical conditions, maintenance level, and psychological effects.
  • Inform the designated nurse of any medical supplies needed.
  • Maintain security of the methadone and dispensing area.
  • Assist the physician in conducting physical examinations as directed.
  • Enter new clients or medication changes into the dispensing system.
  • Verify client doses and eligibility for medicating on courtesy dosing clients.
  • Provide emergency medical treatment as needed.
Requirements
  • Licensed Practical Nurse with current license in PA.
  • Ability to work part-time, approximately 5-10 hours per week.
Benefits

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $29.83 and a sign-on bonus of up to $3000, paid in two installments after successful completion of 90 and 180 days of employment.
