Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bilingual EHS Supervisor to join our team at LHH Recruitment Solutions. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and sustaining environmental health and safety programs, policies, and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment for all employees, visitors, and contractors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement EHS Programs: Create and implement effective environmental health and safety programs, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with national and local regulations.
  • Conduct Safety Training and Audits: Develop and conduct safety training programs for all manufacturing employees and contractors, and conduct regular safety audits to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Manage HS&E Statistics and Metrics: Maintain and communicate accurate and up-to-date HS&E statistics and metrics to management and stakeholders.
  • Support Risk Assessments and Compliance: Assist in risk assessments and external safety audits/inspections, and provide recommendations to improve working conditions and reduce risk factors.
  • Integrate Sustainability into Operations: Coordinate the integration of environmental management and sustainability issues into policies, rules, services, and operations.
  • Promote Best Practices in Energy Use and Waste Reduction: Promote best practices in energy use, waste reduction, and sustainable development, and consult management on all matters relating to health, safety, and environment.
  • Maintain Safety Records and Administer Chemical Safety Program: Maintain accurate records of safety violations, OSHA, workers' compensation cases, and administer the chemical safety program, including requirements for hazardous communication and global harmonization.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Health, Safety & Environmental Engineering/Science or a related field
  • Bilingual Spanish (preferred)
  • 5 years of experience or a combination of education, training, and experience
  • Expertise, knowledge, and understanding of OSHA
  • RCRA/DOT certification for handling of hazardous waste
  • Knowledge of State and Federal regulations related to Health, Safety, and Environmental
Compensation

$95,000.00 to $110,000.00 per year
