About the JobThis position offers a chance to work as a Mobile Diagnostic Imaging Specialist with a leading healthcare provider in the San Francisco area. As a Mobile Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating fluoroscopic equipment and assisting physicians with minimally invasive procedures. Your duties will include preparing patients for procedures, monitoring patient safety, and reporting any abnormalities during imaging processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests to ensure accurate procedure preparation.
- Assist in scrubbing diagnostic and interventional procedures, maintaining a safe and sterile environment.
- Monitor patients during all procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times.
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of radiation protection standards and techniques to minimize exposure.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment outcomes.
- Operate intravenous (I.V.) and dye injector pumps with precision and care.
To be considered for this Mobile Diagnostic Imaging Specialist role, you must have:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in diagnostic imaging or a related field.
- National Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Vascular Interventional Radiography (VI).
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- A sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
- The ability to stand and walk for extended periods, bending, leaning, or stooping without difficulty.
