At Family Fresh Market, we strive to deliver exceptional customer experiences through our team's dedication and expertise. As a Lead Barista, you will play a vital role in ensuring our coffee shop meets the highest standards of quality, service, and cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage inventory control to maintain freshness and product quality.
- Verify receivables for accuracy and store them in designated areas.
- Brew, mix, and blend beverages according to established standards.
- Handle spoiled or damaged products according to guidelines.
- Train others in department activities and functions, including suggestive selling techniques.
- Supervise and manage the selection, scheduling, and performance of team members.
- Familiarize yourself with all products carried in the department, including differences in price, taste, preparation, and use.
- Prepare food items according to procedures.
- Maintain a clean, attractive, and well-stocked department.
- High school graduate or equivalent (GED)
- Proficient computer skills, including email and spreadsheets
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents
- Accounting and bookkeeping skills
- Financial analysis and budget management
- Leadership and delegation skills
- Suggestive selling and product knowledge
- Attention to detail
The physical demands of this role include lifting and moving up to 30 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally. The associate must be able to stand and walk for extended periods, bend, stoop, twist, and turn frequently. The work environment is typically a retail store with varied temperatures and occasional exposure to outside weather conditions. The noise level is usually low to moderate.
