PRN Healthcare is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team in Nashville, Tennessee.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to work with our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to medical imaging, including preparing patients for procedures, operating imaging equipment, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Operate imaging equipment, such as X-ray machines and CT scanners, to produce high-quality images for diagnosis and treatment.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following proper protocols for cleaning and disinfecting equipment and patient areas.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical imaging technologies and techniques to provide the best possible care for patients.
Requirements
  • Current certification as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
  • 2+ years of experience in medical imaging, preferably in an interventional radiology setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
