Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Drainage Specialist to join our team at Maxwell Plumb. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers by ensuring their drainage systems are functioning properly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drain Cleaning and Maintenance: Perform drain cleaning, jetting, and cable work related to in-home service calls, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards.
  • Camera Service: Provide camera service for every mainline stoppage within 24 hours of the report, identifying and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Customer Service: Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing them with expert advice on sewer repair and replacement, and helping them select the right maintenance plan and understand warranty information.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Protect and maintain drain cleaning and camera equipment, ensuring that all tools are in good working order and that the truck is well-inventoried.
  • Training and Development: Participate in all training exercises, morning meetings, trade shows, and retreats, and train and mentor apprentices to ensure quick and accurate repairs.
  • Administrative Tasks: Accurately and timely complete invoices, time cards, curbside feedback, and options sheets.
Requirements
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in drain cleaning or a related field is preferred.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work in physically demanding environments, including climbing, digging, and lifting heavy objects.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in using cabling machines, hand tools, and heavy equipment for drain maintenance and repair.
  • Additional Requirements: Familiarity with fiber splicing techniques for underground drainage systems is a plus, and knowledge of safety procedures when working with high voltage equipment is essential.
  • Driver's License: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
