Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dishroom Attendant to join our team at Walnut Creek Country Club. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized dish area, ensuring all equipment is properly sanitized, and supporting our culinary team in providing exceptional dining experiences for our members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a well-stocked and clean dish area, ensuring all equipment is properly sanitized and in good working condition.
  • Empties and cleans the dish machine and dish area as needed, leaving the area clean, dry, and sanitized.
  • Sweep and mop kitchen floors as needed throughout the day and at the end of the shift.
  • Remove boxes and trash throughout the shift as needed.
  • Restock necessary materials to maintain compliance.
  • Consult with chefs for food preparation and cleaning duties that need to be completed during the shift.
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.

Requirements:

  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred.

Working Conditions:

  • Requires ability to lift 20-50 pounds frequently.
  • Requires full mobility for entire duration of shift.
  • Varying environmentally controlled temperatures from kitchen area and coolers.
