Job Overview

Primoris Services Corporation is seeking a skilled Michigan Licensed Journeyman Electrician to join our team. As a key member of our electrical crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient installation of electrical systems on utility-scale solar, renewables, power delivery, and transportation infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Practice safety protocols and follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Report to and assist immediate supervisors.
  • Perform quality work in accordance with project specifications.
  • Account for all tools and materials at the end of each shift.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals.
  • Able to perform terminations up to 1500V ac and dc.
  • Able to read construction drawings and understand construction specifications.
  • Able to install underground cabling and conduits.
  • Able to run basic electrical test equipment.
  • Able to work with, train, and mentor helpers.
  • Pass a post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation.
  • Complete a New Hire Orientation Quiz.
  • Meet job site safety requirements as specified by the client.
  • Comply with company's drug and alcohol abuse policy.
  • Pass a physical examination, if necessary, and as required by the company.
  • Able to climb and maintain balance on ladders, scaffolding, stairways, etc.
  • Stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or work at elevated heights as well as in confined spaces.
  • Able to carry 50 lbs. of tool and/or materials.
  • Must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to work extended hours on your feet on uneven surfaces.
Requirements
  • Michigan Journeyman Electrician License.
