About the Role

As a Staff Software Engineer on our Research Platform team in Seattle, you will play a critical role in developing scalable, fast, robust, and simple SaaS solutions that drive business growth. With 8+ years of software engineering experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and make a meaningful impact on our customers' experiences.

Key Responsibilities

">

You will be responsible for developing web-based solutions to solve complex business problems, implementing new features and optimizing existing ones to drive maximum performance, working closely with and incorporating feedback from other engineers, tech-ops, and product managers, and attending daily stand-up meetings, collaborating with your peers, prioritizing features, and working with a sense of urgency to deliver value to your customers.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need to have experience working with design and product teams to understand needs, propose features, create early prototypes, and transform them into exciting end-user features, developed scalable, fast, robust, and rich web-based solutions to solve complex business problems, using the latest frontend and backend technologies, experience operating, deploying and maintaining both MySQL and MongoDB, experience with continuous delivery, git, test automation, and build/deploy systems, and a strong algorithms, data structures, and coding background.

Salary Range

">

The estimated salary for this role is between $161,000 and $293,000 USD per year, depending on location, job-related knowledge, education, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may also be included in your employment offer.
