We're seeking a skilled Nurse Supervisor to join our team at Mercy Hospital. As a key member of our nursing administration department, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our inpatient services.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in administrative functions, including EPIC support, wound care, patient admits/discharges, and inpatient diabetic education.
- Consult with chief nurse executive, physicians, nurse managers, and charge nurses on nursing problems and hospital policies.
- Maintain performance improvement and CQI activities within the department.
- Participate in staff scheduling processes and serve as a house-wide administrative representative when needed.
- Current RN license in the applicable state of practice.
- A minimum of three years current inpatient hospital experience, with critical care experience preferred.
- Certification in BLS, ACLS, PALS, EKG, and NIH within 60 days of hire and annually.
