JOB TYPE: Full-Time Permanent
Position Summary:
The Orthopedic-Medical/Surgical unit caters to a varied patient demographic, comprising approximately 60% Orthopedic and 40% Medical/Surgical cases. Our specialized focus encompasses patients undergoing total joint replacement surgeries, managing fractures and fracture repairs, addressing osteomyelitis, and treating minor trauma. We collaborate closely with esteemed orthopedic surgeons who are recognized nationally for their expertise in hip, knee, ankle, and shoulder surgeries, assisting patients in regaining their mobility and independence.
The medical/surgical patients we attend to present a broad spectrum of diagnoses, ranging from straightforward to intricate cases, including but not limited to: cardiac, respiratory, gastroenterological, renal, neurological, endocrine, behavioral health, infectious diseases, and general surgical conditions. Our multidisciplinary team works in unison to provide tailored care and enhance patient outcomes through evidence-based practices and outstanding service.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as an RN in a clinical environment.
- Active RN license in the relevant state.
- BSN required.
- Current certifications as per facility requirements.
- Proficiency in cardiology nursing procedures and skills, including cardiac dysrhythmia interpretation.
- Preferred knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, hemodynamics, and rhythm interpretation.
- Availability to work 12-hour day and night shifts.
