Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Patient Care Assistant Professional to join our team. As a Patient Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our patients. Your primary responsibility will be to provide direct patient care, including assisting with daily activities, administering medications, and monitoring patient conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Direct Patient Care: Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming; assist with transfers from bed to wheelchair or other equipment;
  • Administer Medications: Administer medications to patients under the supervision of licensed nursing staff; maintain accurate records of medication administration;
  • Monitor Patient Conditions: Monitor patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rate; report any changes or concerns to licensed nursing staff;
  • Assist with Daily Activities: Assist patients with eating, drinking, and using the restroom; assist with mobility and transfers as needed;
  • Communicate Effectively: Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure quality care;

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have a strong commitment to patient-centered care and excellent communication skills. You should also possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent;
  • CNA certification;
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;

Compensation and Benefits:

The salary for this position is approximately $45,000 per year, based on experience and location. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a range of benefits, including:
