Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Transportation Aide - CNA to join our team at Caraday Healthcare. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing safe and reliable transportation services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transport patients to and from medical appointments and treatments, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the journey.
  • Assist patients with mobility impairments, including those who use wheelchairs, walkers, and strollers.
  • Provide first aid and CPR as needed, and notify emergency personnel and supervisors if required.
  • Report traffic accidents and complete company accident reports as necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, residents, family members, and guests, using tactful and appropriate language in sensitive situations.
Requirements
  • CNA certification and a valid driver's license are required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English and possess a high school diploma or equivalency degree.
  • Reliability, independence, and the ability to remain calm in emergency situations are essential.
  • Current CPR certification is preferred, as is knowledge of Spanish in certain areas.
Work Environment

This role requires working in a clinical environment, with a variable schedule that may include weekends, evenings, and holidays.
