- Qualify for a Paraprofessional Certificate by either holding an Associate Degree or higher or 90 college quarter hours or 60 semester hours or pass the assessment test for paraprofessionals (GACE).
- Proficiency in oral and written communication (English and Spanish).
- Ability to organize, direct, and control small and large groups of children in a variety of activities and settings.
