We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team at Tri-City Healthcare District. As a Registered Nurse in our ICU, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, and promoting a culture of safety and excellence within our unit.
Key Responsibilities- Patient Assessment and Care Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate the effectiveness of care interventions.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
- Education and Training: Provide education and training to patients, families, and healthcare professionals on various topics, including disease management, medication administration, and wound care.
- Leadership and Supervision: Assist in the supervision of other staff members, students, and volunteers, as needed, and promote a culture of teamwork and accountability within the unit.
- Education: Current California RN License, required.
- Experience: One (1) year of Registered Nurse experience, preferred. One (1) year of ICU experience, preferred.
- Certifications: Current BLS required upon hire; American Heart Association Healthcare Provider. ACLS within 90 days or by end of orientation, whichever comes first, required; American Heart Association Healthcare Provider. NIH Stroke Scale within 90 days of hire, required.
