Job Summary

The Senior Associate, Multifamily Engagement is a key role at Elevate Energy responsible for leading outreach efforts for the Multifamily Energy Savings Program in northern Illinois. This program aims to implement energy efficiency improvements that save energy and reduce costs for building owners and their tenants.

This position reports directly to the Associate Director, Community Partnerships and works closely with Elevate's marketing and call center teams to coordinate messaging and provide a seamless customer experience. The Senior Associate, Multifamily Engagement also collaborates with staff across the organization and partner organizations to achieve program goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement metrics-driven outreach plans for multifamily building owners in the ComEd territory, including tracking events, touches, leads, and other relevant metrics.
  • Lead constituent engagement efforts, including planning and holding outreach events targeting multifamily audiences, and utilizing various tactics to spread awareness about the program offerings.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, such as partner organizations and community leaders.
  • Provide internal and external communications with utilities, partners/consultants, customers, and internal project teams, focusing on external communications with customers and stakeholders.
  • Develop, track, and report outreach metrics, as well as reporting on event outcomes.
  • Foster relationships with interested property owners to encourage participation in energy-saving programs.
  • Refer property owners or tenants who do not qualify for the MFES program to other suitable programs.
  • Collaborate with Elevate's Marketing team to develop neighborhood-specific messaging.
  • Maintain timely data entry and ensure data integrity.
  • Develop and update standard operating procedures for outreach conducted on behalf of the MFES program for inclusion in the Operations Manual.


Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Bilingual Spanish strongly preferred.
  • Passion for environmental issues, economic and social justice, and/or energy efficiency.
  • Ability to become well-versed in multifamily residential energy use, including energy efficiency technology and building science.
    • Exceptional verbal communication skills, comfortable speaking to groups and facilitating discussions.
    • Ability to work effectively with diverse individuals and backgrounds.
    • Strong written communication skills and ability to craft professional letters or email communications.
    • Experience crafting social media strategy and content preferred.
    • Strong organizational ability and experience meeting established goals within tight timeframes.
    • Self-starter with ability to work independently and remotely, as well as within a team.
    • Familiarity with standard business computer applications and experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems preferred.
    • Ability to track and report on metrics related to outreach activities.
    • Familiarity with the Chicago metropolitan area and its communities a plus.


Benefits
Elevate Energy offers a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $75,000 based on experience, as well as comprehensive health and welfare benefits, a defined contribution benefit, professional development opportunities, generous paid time off policies, and a flexible schedule. This is an exempt individual contributor position.
