Position Overview:

This role involves collaborating with clients, team members, and various departments to oversee and enhance daily support and operations for Veradigm clients. The position requires diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving issues related to sophisticated enterprise software and computer systems. The ideal candidate will serve as a mentor and trainer, providing guidance on complex analytical and troubleshooting issues to expedite customer resolutions. This role also includes participating in the resolution of escalated and highly complex issues that may significantly impact customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively engage in resolving escalations for complex, high-impact issues.
  • Communicate priority issues to the support leadership team.
  • Manage escalations and supportability concerns in collaboration with Development and other departments.
  • Participate in ticket review meetings and prioritize defect/enhancement efforts.
  • Conduct root cause analysis, assess impact on support, and propose viable solutions.
  • Assist team members with Support Tickets through knowledge sharing, training, and mentoring.
  • Review open Support Tickets to evaluate troubleshooting steps, develop action plans, and guide team members.
  • Create and maintain relevant knowledge resources, ensuring effective knowledge authoring that adds value to the team and clients.
  • Engage in release reviews, examining documentation and training for supportability.
  • Communicate product updates, new features, and customer impact issues to the team.
  • Disseminate and discuss new product issues and updates, partnering with Client Engagement to inform customers of critical software problems and solutions.
  • Remain the subject matter expert for Encounter Submissions within the team.
  • Collaborate with peers and support leadership to strategize activities and initiatives that align with team and business objectives.
  • Actively participate in customer implementations.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent technical/business experience is required.
  • 5+ years of experience with EDI Encounter submissions, including:
    • Experience with Encounter submissions data platforms.
    • Understanding of Claims Processing workflows and systems.
    • Familiarity with relevant data extract information: TR3, 837 Companion guides.
    • Knowledge of encounter data processing documentation from regulatory bodies.
  • Advanced SQL proficiency.
  • 7+ years of relevant work experience, with 2-3 years at a senior level or equivalent experience preferred.
