Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Safety: Ensure the safe handling and dispensing of medications, maintaining a clean and organized pharmacy environment.
  • Pharmacy Professional Practice: Stay up-to-date with the latest pharmacy practices, regulations, and guidelines to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Regulatory Requirements: Comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and accreditation standards to maintain a compliant pharmacy.
  • Quality Assurance: Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure the highest standards of patient care and pharmacy operations.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, addressing patient concerns and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Personnel Management: Supervise and develop your Pharmacy Technician Support Staff, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
  • Inventory Management: Manage pharmacy inventory, ensuring accurate ordering, storage, and dispensing of medications.
  • Financial Profitability: Contribute to the financial success of your pharmacy, optimizing revenue and minimizing costs.
  • Loss Prevention: Identify and mitigate potential losses, ensuring the security of pharmacy assets and patient information.
  • Workflow Management: Streamline pharmacy operations, improving efficiency and productivity.
Requirements
  • Active Pharmacy License: Hold an active pharmacy license in the state where you're employed.
  • Immunization Certification: Possess immunization certification through an accredited organization.
  • No Felony Charges: Not have any pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education: Hold a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree.
