Facilities Maintenance Manager

Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking a Facilities Maintenance Manager to oversee our operations. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment and will be instrumental in implementing effective maintenance strategies. The primary responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring plant safety with a goal of zero lost time incidents.
  • Coordinating maintenance teams and resources efficiently.
  • Supporting the launch of new projects.
  • Maintaining timelines for equipment repairs.
  • Assisting with all pre-production requirements involving components and services.
  • Tracking maintenance work orders through the CMMS system.
  • Developing and scheduling preventive maintenance (PM) and predictive maintenance (PDM) tasks for facilities and production machinery.
  • Evaluating and providing feedback on new equipment acquisitions.
  • Facilitating mold change schedules as dictated by production needs.
  • Contributing to cost-saving initiatives within the manufacturing facility.
  • Enhancing overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) metrics for plant operations.
  • Collaborating with approved subcontractors.
  • Maintaining the upkeep of facilities, grounds, and production equipment.
  • Coordinating training and skill development for skilled trades personnel.
  • Ensuring timely completion and execution of projects.
  • Meeting goals related to cost, schedule, and project timelines.
  • Fulfilling project requirements for all aspects of PPAP, IATF 16949, and other product launch elements.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the maintenance shop and work areas.
  • Ensuring efficient supply and distribution of utilities such as water, electricity, natural gas, compressed air, and waste management in relation to equipment operation.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Associate degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 8 years in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in computer applications, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of SAP.
  • Experience with ISO/QS9000/TS16949 standards.
  • Ability to effectively engage with customers and team members.
  • Self-driven and results-oriented.
  • Adept at multitasking.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Capability to work at a computer for extended periods.
  • Ability to hear and convey information effectively in conversations.
  • Experience troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and PLC systems.
