About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Counseling Therapist to join our team at PennState Health. This is an ongoing position that requires completing initial assessments for the Dialectical Behavior therapy program's intensive outpatient and outpatient levels of care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide support services to the Dialectical Behavior Therapy program under the guidance of a clinical supervisor.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient progress.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a psychosocial science or related field.
  • At least one year of experience in human services.
  • Non-Violent Crisis Prevention and Intervention training prior to end of orientation.
  • Act 31 training completion within 45 days of hire.
