Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced diesel mechanic to join our team as a Field Diesel Mechanic - Customer Equipment Solutions. As a Field Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs of complex equipment on customer-owned equipment with limited or no supervision in a highly skilled, safe, and professional manner. You will work independently, using your skills and knowledge to diagnose and repair equipment, and provide exceptional customer service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform maintenance and repairs of complex equipment on customer-owned equipment with limited or no supervision.
  • Use advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools to diagnose and repair equipment.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to our customers, including upselling and demonstrating complex equipment.
  • Travel to customer job sites for repair and maintenance of customer-owned equipment.
  • Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
  • 3-5 years of experience repairing and maintaining equipment and tools.
  • Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools.
  • Knowledge of construction equipment and strong mechanical background knowledge of various engines.
  • Must own tools applicable to position.
  • Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills.
  • Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
