Job Summary

The New Jewish Home, a leading provider of innovative health care services, is seeking a Per Diem Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join their team at the Sarah Neuman campus in Westchester.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide care to residents/patients as assessed and described in the Comprehensive Care Plan.
  • Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as feeding, bathing, toileting needs, and transporting as required.
  • Participate in the continuum of care and education of residents by assisting with ambulation and performing Range of Motion as directed.
  • Report and remove overt safety hazards and report any resident incidents.
  • Foster positive relationships amongst residents, nursing personnel, families, and visitors.
Requirements
  • Currently registered as a CNA in New York State.
  • One year experience as a CNA in a health care setting.
  • Previous geriatric experience preferred.
  • Requires every other weekend commitment.
  • Shift Hours: 3pm - 11pm.
