Position Summary:
As a W.B. Mason
Market Development Consultant, you will be responsible for acquiring new clients and expanding business opportunities by showcasing W.B. Mason's online features, product catalogs, promotional materials, and comprehensive product offerings.
Compensation:
For candidates located in New York State, the initial salary range for this role typically falls between $60,000 - $65,000.
Key Responsibilities:
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
1. Travel within designated territories to engage potential clients and cultivate a customer base.
2. Distribute promotional materials to both existing and prospective clients.
3. Present or demonstrate products to enhance customers' understanding of offerings.
4. Provide pricing quotes and contractual agreements as needed.
5. Establish and nurture excellent relationships with new clients to guarantee satisfaction during the onboarding phase.
6. Collaborate with Inside Sales representatives to convert lists of potential customer leads into sales.
7. Complete necessary account setups via MasonvilleGO to facilitate customer success.
8. Ensure a smooth transition of accounts to the account management team.
9. Foster and maintain relationships with Inside Sales, clients, and distribution personnel.
10. Participate in weekly Branch Sales Meetings.
11. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Exceptional communication abilities
- Capable of managing multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
- Self-driven and able to work autonomously
- Proficient in conversing, reading, and writing in English
Educational Background:
Education and/or Experience
- A Bachelor's Degree (BS or BA) from an accredited institution is preferred but not mandatory.
