Senior Video Editor/Designer

ESPN is seeking a highly skilled Senior Video Editor/Designer to join our Social Content team. As a key member of our creative team, you will be responsible for designing and producing high-end creative assets for various social media platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement creative concepts for social media content
- Collaborate with social media specialists to execute their visions
- Pitch ideas in weekly brainstorms and daily content meetings
- Work with internal partners to lead on projects and ensure timely delivery
- Educate social media specialists on basic design concepts to maintain the ESPN visual brand
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years' design experience with at least 2 years designing for social media
- Experience using 3D software like Blender or Cinema 4D
- Proficient in video editing software, including Adobe After Effects and Premiere
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work under high pressure and tight deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
- Willingness to learn new editing software and implement it with the design team
- Strong familiarity with social media and pop culture trends
- Highly skilled in interpreting and applying social data to influence design choices
Education:
- High school diploma and a suitable combination of related training and experience
Compensation:
The hiring range for this position in New York, NY is $89,872 to $120,560 per year, and in Los Angeles, CA is $85,772 to $115,060 per year. The base pay will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
