Job Overview

As a Psychiatric Nursing Assistant, you will assist in the nursing care of mentally ill patients, implementing various types of psychiatric treatment plans and coordinating with the interdisciplinary treatment team to deliver quality services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, monitoring patient behavior, and participating in treatment planning conferences.
  • Collaborate with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
  • Participate in ongoing staff development programs, workshops, and seminars to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must have an Associate's degree and one year's experience in a human services field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Ideal candidates will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Salary and Benefits
