Job Summary

Moffat Workforce is seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Control Technician to join our team. As a Senior Quality Control Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and services, and for implementing processes to improve our quality management system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality Management: Develop and implement quality management systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Quality Control: Conduct quality control inspections and tests to ensure that products meet specifications and standards.
  • Corrective Action: Identify and implement corrective actions to address quality issues and prevent future defects.
  • Process Improvement: Analyze and improve processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Training and Development: Train and develop quality control inspectors to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in a metals manufacturing environment or similar.
  • Skills: Ability to read and interpret blueprints, knowledge of inspection equipment and methods, knowledge of calibration methods, knowledge of gauge capability studies, knowledge of sampling methods, ability to make decisions regarding conformance to specifications, ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail, ability to maintain composure in stressful situations, knowledge of practical problem-solving and associated tools, ability to train and coach others.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to sit or stand for 8 hours per day, ability to lift 35 pounds.
Compensation

The starting salary for this position is $22 to $25+ hourly (DOQ & open to negotiation).
