Job Summary

Rural Metro is seeking a highly skilled Firefighter/EMT to join our team. As a Firefighter/EMT, you will be responsible for performing fire prevention, fire suppression, and emergency medical services duties to protect life and property.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct fire safety inspections and provide information to the public
  • Respond to emergency fire alarms and assist in the suppression of fires
  • Provide emergency medical services, including patient assessment and treatment
  • Operate fire equipment and apparatus, including vehicles and rescue equipment
  • Participate in training and maintenance activities to ensure readiness for emergency situations
Requirements
  • US Citizen
  • High School Graduate or GED
  • Valid OKLAHOMA State Driver's License
  • Ability to Read and Speak English
  • Prior Experience as a Firefighter/EMT preferred
