Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist, you will:

  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to conduct comprehensive physical therapy assessments aimed at identifying functional limitations related to various diagnoses.
  • Design and implement personalized treatment plans that effectively address and aim to resolve identified functional challenges.
  • Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, including thermotherapy, electrotherapy, exercise regimens, postural training, biomechanics, gait training, soft tissue mobilization, and independent living skills enhancement.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of patient progress, focusing on symptom alleviation and functional restoration across diverse patient demographics, including adolescents, adults, and seniors.
  • Supervise and guide physical therapist assistants to ensure the achievement of patient-specific goals and objectives.
  • Report to the Manager of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, with indirect oversight from the Lead Physical Therapist.

Qualifications

Required Credentials:

  • Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program is mandatory.
  • A Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
  • Must possess or be eligible for licensure in the State of Ohio.
  • Licensure must be displayed at the primary work location.
