Job Description

The State of California is seeking a skilled Business Systems Analyst to provide technical support and analysis for systems/applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of business processes and technical skills to analyze and resolve system incidents.

Responsibilities:
• Provide Phoenix SAP HR Payroll system maintenance support for the end users in the Trial Court Administrative Services unit
• Receive requests or independently identify system issues
• Monitor task plans and coordinate all related tasks according to established timelines
• Escalate issues to management as needed
• Regularly provide status updates to the Project Management Office
• Provide training and/or knowledge transfer to system users, peer analysts, and colleagues
• Schedule and facilitate meetings between court, TCAS Shared Services, JCIT, and 3rd party vendors, as required for blueprinting, design, configuration, development, and testing

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree, and three (3) years of experience providing technical and business process support and analysis for systems/applications
• An additional four years of professional experience may substitute for the bachelor's degree
• Strong knowledge of SAP HR/Payroll (USA Public Sector), Personnel Administration, Employee Services (ES), Manager Services (MS), Taxes, W2, Benefits Administration, Organization Management, or other relevant experience to solve business problems in support of the SAP system
• Experience with SAP HR/Payroll systems, including functional configuration & design, integration with third-party systems, testing, and support
• Hands-on experience performing configuration and testing on at least 2 US Payroll implementations
