The Role

We are seeking a Seasonal Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Gap Inc. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, engaging with customers, and driving sales through product knowledge and expertise.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Engage with customers, offering product recommendations and styling advice to drive sales and increase customer satisfaction.
  • Utilize technology effectively to deliver a seamless customer experience, including omni-channel offerings.
  • Support sales floor, fitting room, checkout, and back-of-house processes as required.
  • Courteously and responsively handle internal and external requests, exchanging and verifying job-related information as needed.
Requirements:
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to utilize technology effectively and engage with customers and team members to meet goals.
  • Problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement, always learning, open to feedback, and taking action as required.
  • Able to handle customer interactions and potential issues/concerns courteously and professionally.
  • Basic information-gathering skills to solve problems.
  • Ability to learn procedural knowledge acquired through on-the-job training.
