Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Learning Experience Architect to join our team at Indus River Technologies Inc. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of $85,000 - $115,000 per annum.

About the Role

The Learning Experience Architect will be responsible for designing and developing innovative instructional programs and materials that align with organizational goals and learner needs. This includes collaborating with subject matter experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to ensure the accuracy and relevancy of training content.

Key Responsibilities
  • Training Needs Assessment: Conduct thorough Training Needs Assessments and Audience Analyses to identify learning objectives and performance gaps, training participants, and delivery channels.
  • Instructional Design: Design and develop comprehensive, 508-compliant instructional materials, including course summary sheets, learning objectives, course outlines, storyboards, video scripts, job aids, quick reference sheets, and other supporting documents for training deliverables.
  • Online Training Materials: Create online, interactive training materials in various formats, such as printable job aids, instructor-led (virtual and in-person), microlearning, videos, and eLearning courses.
  • eLearning Course Development: Generate program interactive, SCORM-compliant webinars, microlearning and full-length eLearning courses in eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Adobe, Captivate, Camtasia, Articulate Storyline).
  • Assessment and Evaluation: Develop and administer a variety of assessments, including quizzes, tests, simulations, and practical exercises, to measure learner progress and comprehension. Analyze assessment data to evaluate the effectiveness of instructional programs, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven recommendations for enhancing learning outcomes.
  • Project Management: Accurately track and document the progress of instructional design projects, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met. Utilize project management tools to monitor timelines, resource allocation, and deliverables, and provide regular updates to stakeholders on the status of development efforts.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Instructional Design, Education, Training and Development, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Proficiency in eLearning authoring tools (e.g. Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia).
  • Experience with SCORM-compliant course development and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
